Our second grade students have been working on a creative and fun art project combining drawing, glue, and salt! Each child chose an animal and drew its outline on cardboard. Then, they carefully traced over their drawings with glue and sprinkled salt on top. Once the glue dried, the salt remained, beautifully outlining the shape of the animal.
This activity helped students develop their fine motor skills, explore texture in art, and express their creativity in a hands-on way. We’re proud of their effort and imagination—and the results look amazing!
